Our Commitment

We want everyone who is researching Delano Residences & Hotel Miami to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our target.

What We Do

  • Use headings, lists, and tables with header rows so pages can be navigated by structure.
  • Provide descriptive alternative text for floor plans, view simulations, and photos.
  • Aim to keep the menu, forms, and image galleries usable with a keyboard alone.
  • Use text sizes and color contrast designed for readability, and a layout that adapts to phones and tablets.
  • Offer the site in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

How We Test

In October 2026 we ran an automated check (axe-core, WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA rules) on our main pages in English, Spanish, and Portuguese and fixed every issue it found, mainly color contrast, link styling, and a missing form label. We also added a "skip to main content" link and made the image galleries operable with the keyboard. Automated tools find only part of all possible issues, so this is not a guarantee of full conformance.

Known Limitations

We have not had this site formally audited by a third party, and some areas may fall short of our goal:

  • Developer images and renderings. Floor plans and view simulations come from the developer as images. Our text descriptions summarize them, but fine details such as room dimensions may not be fully conveyed. We can send them to you in text form on request.
  • Third-party tools. The WhatsApp chat button, the contact form delivery service, and analytics are provided by other companies, and we do not control their accessibility.
  • Older blog posts. Some posts may have tables or images that could be better labeled. We are improving them as we update content.
